Recycling

The theme of this photo was "Recycling for a better future." I saw the idea of recycling an old light bulb long time ago on a Mexican TV show focused on recycling, and since spring just started, I thought this was a cute idea. I followed the idea of kids recycling as an incentive to have parents and children work in little projects like this one since recycling isn't big in Southern Utah. I loved how the photo shoot turned out!

A lot of people know to recycle the little aluminum part of soda cans, but they have no idea what to do with them. When I was a little girl, I learned how to do belts out of them. However, my grandmother took it to the next level making this cute purse. She makes them for fun, but they are a great way to recycle! The theme of this photo was "Style recycling." I wanted to do it sitting on top of a red rock to tie it to this area.
